our story so far.....

In the beginning

In early October 2023 we made an application to Waves of Kindness - Noosaville Queensland -  to sponsor us with seed money to start The Brain Awareness Centre. This was granted late October 2024. This was when our name was decided on.

Certificate of Registration with Australian Stock Exchange

The Brain Awareness Centre Ltd came into effect November 2023

Mind Matters Gala

April 2024 was our official launch at Sports Central Caboolture

Charity status

April 2024 we received our charity status from the Australian Charity and Not for Profit Commission - ACNC

Morning Tea

We continue to hold our regular morning tea as a  way to encourage socialization and connect with those in our community impacted by brain injuries. We provide a safe and supportive environment, food and drinks ,share information and host guest speakers throughout the year.

Advocate

We constantly attend forums and events to bring awareness to our community regarding brain injuries .
